DXE
:
Heavy Duty Tandem Disc Harrow

The Kverneland DXE features a working widths of 3.15 to 4.05 m. Its oversized 200 x 300 x 10 mm monobeam frame ensures that all working parts are conveniently visible and accessible for ease of maintenance. With a minimum disc weight of 130 kg, the DXE is the ideal solution for hard or stony ground.

The arrangement of offset front disc gangs and symmetrical rear gangs means that the DXE works perfectly over the full working width and thus is very stable in operation. This construction eliminates the need for a centre tine assembly to remove any soil ridge formed.

However, the design still allows the transport width to be under 2.50 m in accordance with road traffic legislation.

Robust Main Frame

The 200 x 300 x 10 mm section heavy duty frame ensures guaranteed robustness. The disc gangs are connected to the frame by means of robust junction arms. Moving from field to field is not a problem as the transport width is kept less than 2.50 m. The working depth is easily adjusted by means of a 125 x 80 mm double-acting cylinder and hydraulic depth stop. Maintenance is facilitated by the easy access to all the equipment components.

Manual Or Hydraulically Adjustable Working Angle

In the standard version, the gangs are positioned using pins to locate the gang on the frame. Six positions are possible, allowing angle adjustment from 11 to 25°. The optional Vario-system allows independent adjustment of the front and rear gangs and also folds the harrow to the transport width of under 2.50 m.

A Wide Range Of Wheels For Optimum Depth Control

The DXE is fitted with two 400/60 x 15.5 wheels as standard.

Tapered Roller Bearings

Double tapered roller bearings with four seals ensure excellent robustness and protection from the ingress of dirt. As an option, the Kverneland spring shock absorber system ensures non-stop work in all conditions; penetration is improved and the steel bearings allow stony ground to be worked with trouble free operation.

Different spacers and diameters depending on the usage. The Kverneland DXE is available with 200 mm spacing for surface tilling, 235 mm for versatile use or 275 mm for deep tilling. Notched or smooth discs of 610, 660 or 710 mm are designed to suit all requirements.

DXG :
A Heavy-Duty Disc Harrow For Effective Stubble Cultivation

The Kverneland DXG features and working widths of 4.50 to 6.30 m. Its robust 200 x 300 x 10 mm mono-beam frame ensures that all working parts are conveniently visible and accessible for ease of maintenance. The DXG is distinguished from smaller models by a special lifting system, which does not rely on a mechanical connection.

The arrangement of offset front disc gangs and symmetrical rear gangs means that the DXG works perfectly over the full working width and is very stable in operation. However, the transport width is still under 2.50 m in accordance with road traffic legislation.

Central Frame Construction

The 200 x 300 x 10 mm centre frame section ensures optimum strength. The disc gangs are connected to the frame by means of robust junction arms. The DXG features horizontal disc gang folding which means that the transport width is kept under 2.50 m. The DXG benefits from an innovative lifting system: two cylinders act together to ensure equipment lifting. This system offers the following advantages:

  • The hydraulic stop is located at the front of the equipment for ease of access and improved safety.

  • The disc harrow remains horizontal when working or being transported to ensure stability and make manoeuvring much easier.
Maintenance is facilitated by easy access to all the equipment components.
