Centrifugal Fan
John Deere orchard sprayers feature a large, quiet running centrifugal fan. It provides very constant air flow from the distribution fan to the tree.
It provides high air speeds, without the turbulence typically associated with axial designs. As such, you can spray at higher air velocities for reduced drift and improved penetration when conditions require (when spraying in high winds for example).
In most cases, however, it is sufficient to spray with lower revs, which saves fuel and reduces noise and wear.
The radial fan, in combination with the adjustable Cross Flow System, provides constant air speed and airflow on both sides of the boom.
What's more, airflow on both sides of the boom is completely symmetrical, ensuring uniform chemical spray deposit.
Electronic Controller & Diaphragm Regulator
