Perfectly wrapped bales with one tractor and one operator.
TTSystem wrapping baler. The wrapper is built as an integral part of the machine:
-
Legendary John Deere fixed chamber technology.
-
Uses less wrap than conventional wrapping machines.
-
The outstanding TTSystem treats the bale with kid gloves, retaining quality.
-
The massive mainframe increases reliability, manoeuvrability and transport speed.
Fixed Chamber Baling
Perfectly wrapped bales start with a high density baler.
-
The John Deere fixed chamber technology forms tight, very dense bales ideally suited for wrapping. The precutter with spring-protected knives thoroughly segments the thickest windrow into uniform pieces, right from the start.
-
The cut forage is delivered quickly to the fixed chamber. This combination of short, sized pieces and high density performance provides a perfectly shaped, very tight bale. It's a bale that's tailor-made for wrapping, every time.
-
Any plugs can be expelled without having to leave the cab with the outstanding mechanical full reverser (hydraulically activated).
TTSystem
Handles high-quality bales with kid gloves.
The key to the John Deere 678 Wrapping Baler is the TTSystem (Table Transport System). As soon as the round bale is fully formed, the transport table extends to meet the bale when the chamber opens.
The handling table cradles the freshly made silage bales through the wrapping process and lays them gently on the ground. This preserves the silage quality and ensures perfectly applied film.
The TTSystem features four wide belts that flex to fully secure the bale during the wrapping process.
Twin-Wrapping Arms
Twin wrapping arms quickly surround the bale tightly, minimising air pockets that can lead to spoilage. Because the bale is perfectly positioned at all times, there's no need to waste film through overwrapping.
The twin arm design also ensures the wrapping process is complete before the next bale is finished in the chamber. Less down time. More productivity.
Once the bale is wrapped, the transport table pivots to ground level and gently lays the bale on the ground, therefore avoiding damaging drops which can rip the film or cause the bale to roll. Wrapping
