Conditioning has as much (or more) impact on overall forage quality as cutting:

•  Crop rubs against itself and against the specially designed conditioning hood, which scuffs the entire stem. This allows moisture to escape faster, producing quicker drying, higher quality forage.
• You can adjust rotor speed, conditioning intensity, and windrow width to perfectly match changing field conditions.
  
•  Steel tines are significantly stronger than plastic tines for more positive pickup and faster field speeds. The V-shaped tines work like fingers, picking up crop and moving it to the conditioner.
