MSC The cultivation and seeding system for conventional and mulch seeding applications

With the new generation of MSC, Accord is responding to the requirements of cost-conscious and successful farmers and contractors who need to combine high forward speed output with quality crop establishment.

The MSC system is totally flexible, it allows a concerted interaction of soil, plant and technology. At the same time soil fertility is increased by conservation tillage.

The combination of front and rear packer with a close axle distance allows the machine to perfectly follow the ground contours ensuring the precise depth control of the coulters when working on slopes. This is of major importance especially with the seeding of rape. A constant weight distribution over the total working width of the wheel packer (independent of the hopper level) optimizes not only the capillary action but provides the coulters with a perfectly leveled and reconsolidated seed bed.

Tine Seeder

Versatility, low acquisition costs, low cost of ownership, high working speeds and reliability are the main characteristic features of the Tine Seeder, making it a real alternative to the traditional semi-mounted seed drills.

The Accord T-S seed drill can be used for both conventional sowing and for mulch seeding. The sowing tines of the Tine Seeder perform two functions in a single pass: Sowing and soil preparation. Soil clods are reduced and fuel and time savings are achieved.

The T-S Sowing Tines

The tines ensure a high degree of operational safety and are equipped as standard with an automatic overload protection based on the leaf-spring stone protection of the Kverneland plough, which has been tried and tested hundreds of thousands of times. In order to ensure sufficient passage under mulch seeding conditions, the tines are staggered in three rows or as an option with four rows.

The two tine sections adapt well to unevenness in the ground, as they are connected via a pressure accumulator. Precise depth control is ensured by two gauge wheels (flotation tyres), 23.x10.5-12, per section. One pair of track looseners with duck foot coulters ensures that the tractor tracks are loosened over a wide area.
